Corsica Fall Camps

Corsica is and remains a special destination for kayaking. From mid-november, the water levels on the island are usually perfect. The autumnal rainfall, which is much more abundant than in spring, fills the Corsican streams and often provides ideal conditions for kayaking until after Christmas.

The days are shorter in november and December than in spring, so we make the most of every minute of daylight at this time of year. On the long evenings, there will be enough time to sit together and cook a good meal. As usual, our base will be the Ernella campsite, but we will stay in the rooms here and use the campsite's kitchen and dining room as a group.

Fresh mandarins, strawberry trees and water in the stream - the wild island is even more beautiful in fall!

Corsica Fall Camp Dates

Large course and river selection

We offer many different kayak courses at our Corsica Autumn Camps. From F1 to Creek 2 Course , almost the entire spectrum of whitewater difficulty levels is covered. This gives you the opportunity to choose exactly the course that suits your paddling level. And if you have signed up for the wrong course, you can switch to a more suitable course on site at any time. As mentioned above, you can expect the rivers of Corsica to be full in the fall, so there is a good chance that you will get to know many different river sections during the course week. At the Corsica Autumn Camps 2022, for example, we didn't paddle any river sections twice during the course weeks and were able to paddle a "new" river every day.

The dates above show which courses we are offering that week. To find out which course is right for you, take a look at our course descriptions or simply send us an e-mail!

The camp and the island in fall

The Corsica Autumn Camps are something very special. You have the feeling of having the whole island to yourself, as there are very few tourists and certainly no other kayaking groups on the island at this time of year. We have been going to Corsica for several weeks in november and December since 2019 and have never met any other kayakers there. The situation is similar at "our" campsite. Milou, the nicest campsite owner in the world, opens it up especially for us and makes his entire infrastructure, including group and storage rooms, available to us. This ensures that we are warm, bright and dry in the morning and evening.
