Ötztal

Numerous sections from class III whitewater - V and absolute water safety make the Ötztal the best autumn kayaking area in Europe. At our camps you have the opportunity to get to know and paddle all sections of the Ötz. Our professional kayak instructors know the Ötztaler Ache inside out, give you helpful tips and ensure that you are always safe on the water.

For our Creek 1 and Creek 2 courses, the Ötztaler Ache offers us everything we could wish for: steps, drops, sufficient water pressure and sections with varying gradients.

The Ötztaler Ache is a mighty glacial river. The earlier in the fall, the more water it carries!

Ötztal Camp dates

The camp and the daily routine

At our four-day Ötztal Camps we offer Creek 1 and Creek 2 courses. As the days in September and October are already quite short and the temperatures can get quite cold at night, we will book comfortable accommodation for the whole group on request. As a rule, we will start paddling at around 10:00 a.m. each day and leave the water by 5:00 p.m. at the latest.
