Soča
A picture-book vacation: the Soča Valley enchants with turquoise water, white limestone cliffs and large, untouched deciduous forests. On the sunny southern side of the Alps, the Soča offers us crystal-clear water, plenty of places to play and freshly caught trout for the evening barbecue around the campfire. At the Soča kayak camp, we find a wide range of great river sections, from tame water to routes with a fifth degree of difficulty.
The countless eddies and practice spots on the various courses make the Soča one of the best training rivers in Europe and a very special vacation destination for us kayakers! On the various camp dates, we offer a Beginners Course Level 1, Beginners Course Level 2, Advanced 1, Advanced 2 and a Creek 1 Course . If you wish - provided you have the appropriate skills - you can also take part in a guided trip through the "Great Soča Gorge".
The wild Soča gives us hundreds of sweeping waters to practice and play in.

The camp and the daily routine
In summer, we camp at Kamp Liza, at the confluence of the Koritnica and Soča rivers. Our group tent with kitchen is set up there so that we can cook together. The days usually start with a brief discussion of the day's plan over breakfast, after which all groups set off on the river. We usually paddle several stretches and don't stop until everyone has had their fill! As the distances on the Soča are so short, there is always time to sit around the campfire in the evening.
At the Season End in October, we take permanent accommodation where we can cook together in the evening and sit by the fire. The days are shorter than in summer, so we often start a little earlier and enjoy the long evening later.
