Zambezi

At our exclusive kayak camp in November 2023, Adrian Mattern and Andi Brunner will guide you down the heaving waters of the Zambezi. They will give you tips, provide safety and enjoy the warm water, the pleasant temperatures and the unique white water with you.

In the course of this 12-day kayak trip you will significantly improve your heaving water technique and reduce excessive respect for "a lot of water" guaranteed. If the Zambezi seems very impressive and intimidating during the first few trips, it gradually turns into a huge playground with countless possibilities to let off steam!

Enjoy balancing water of the extra class with Adrian Mattern and Andi Brunner!

Zambezi Camp Dates

Participation requirements

To participate in our Zambezi kayak camp, you must be able to roll safely (under all circumstances), have experience on massive WW IV and be physically fit. Temperatures of about 35°C and the sunny weather - combined with the long kayak distance (about 25km daily) - demand a lot from us.

You are not sure if this trip is something for you? Then just send us an email. We will be happy to help you with your decision!

The camp and the daily schedule

We will stay at Jollyboys Backpackers Hostel, known from countless videos and social media postings of the stations. Jollyboys will pick you up directly at the airport in Livingstone, from where you can reach the accommodation in about 10 minutes.

Our daily routine will be similarly comfortable: the program includes a daily trip down the Zambezi River with its numerous rapids, countless play spots and wave trains. For this purpose we will be picked up directly at our accommodation in the morning and driven to the entry point. After a long day on the river our shuttle is waiting at the exit and brings us back to the hostel. So we can fully concentrate on paddling and enjoy life to the fullest.
