Zambezi

At our exclusive kayak camp in november 2023, Adrian Mattern and Andi Brunner will guide you down the massive water of the Zambezi. They will give you tips, ensure safety and enjoy the warm water, the pleasant temperatures and the unique white water with you.

In the course of this 12-day kayak trip, you will significantly improve your balancing water technique and are guaranteed to reduce excessive respect for "a lot of water". While the Zambezi still seems very impressive and intimidating at the first drives, it gradually turns into a huge playground with countless opportunities to let off steam!

Enjoy balancing water in a class of its own with Adrian Mattern and Andi Brunner!

Zambezi Camp Dates

Requirements for participation

To participate in our Zambezi kayak camp, you need to roll completely safely (under all circumstances), have experience on massive WW IV and be physically fit. Temperatures of about 35°C and the sunny weather – coupled with the long kayak route (about 25km daily) – demand a lot from us.

Not sure if this trip is for you? Then just send us an e-mail. We are happy to help you with your decision!

The camp and the daily routine

We will stay at the Jollyboys Backpackers Hostel, known from countless videos and social media postings of the broadcasters. Jollyboys will pick you up directly at the airport in Livingstone, from where you can reach the accommodation in about 10 minutes.

Our everyday life will be similarly comfortable: the program includes a daily trip to the Zambezi, with its numerous rapids, countless playspots and wave trains. For this purpose, we are always picked up directly from our accommodation in the morning and driven to the boarding point. After a long day at the river, our shuttle will be waiting at the exit and will take us back to the hostel. So we can fully concentrate on paddling and enjoy life to the fullest.
