Do you feel at home on class II whitewater and would finally like to enter more difficult waters? Or are you already often out and about on class III whitewater but would like to be a bit more confident? Then the advanced 2 kayak course is just right for you! We'll show you how much fun more gradients and more water pressure can be if you simply rely on the current and your technique.
In this course, we focus on using the current, estimating lines and navigating tactics in a group, in addition to proper technique. The aim of the course is to develop routine in class III whitewater .
We offer our advanced 2 courses in Tyrol, Corsica, Slovenia, southern France and the Engadine. The course content and schedule vary depending on the course location and duration. Please select one of our numerous F2 courses for detailed information.

- Flow theory
- Recognizing and using different currents on the river
- Expand dynamic movement using weight positioning and upper body rotation.
- Dynamic reversing
- Precise paddle control and pull stroke-forward stroke combination
- Control of the kayak by proper edging and blade pressure
- Scouting: Assessing dangers, choosing lines
- Navigation tactics in the group: communication and safety posts

- Powerstroke eight (build up and maintain torque)
- Drive into eddies with pull stroke-forward stroke combination
- Turning water combinations with obstacles
- Paddling upstream with the help of eddies and waves

To be able to take part in Advanced 2 Course , you must
- Be able to swim confidently
- Be in overall good health.
- be confident on class II whitewater (for example Imster Schlucht on the Inn and the cemetery route on the Soča near Niederwasser)
- be at least 14 years old (we offer courses for groups of younger paddlers on request).
- Be able to drive independently class III whitewater
- Learn to bofen
