Ötztal Kayak Festival 2024
The first Ötztal Kayak Festival will take place in Oetz from September 20 - 22, 2024 . In addition to the Oetz Kayak Cross on the slalom course (WW III - WW IV), there will be equipment testing opportunities, workshops, a festival for the Ötztaler Ache and an after-race party in Area 47.
The festival area is located at the entrance to the "Untere Ötztaler Ache". The parking lot there serves as an exhibition area for the entire duration of the event. You can view the equipment of our partner companies here and test it directly on site.
There will be a chill-out zone around the Race Base with seating and music. There you can meet up, get information about the program and make plans together.
During the event, the Hochoetz cable car parking lot is available during the day for a fee. This is the quickest way to get to the festival site.

Ötztal Water Festival in the center of Oetz
WET - Wildwasser erhalten Tirol is organizing a festival for the preservation of the Ötztaler Ache in cooperation with local organizations. Here you can inform yourself about the current situation regarding Ötztal's water and the future of the Ötztaler Ache. A visit is therefore a must! There is also a great program for children.

Oetz Kayak Cross on the slalom course in Oetz
At the Ötztal Kayak Festival there will also be the first Oetz Kayak Cross on the Ötztaler Ache! Due to the moderate difficulty of the race course, anyone who feels confident in WW III can take part in this race. After a timed qualifying run, four women or four men will compete against each other in the individual heats, with the faster two always advancing to the next round. The grand final will take place at 18:00.
21:30: Award ceremony of the Oetz Kayak Cross and tombola in Area 47
22:00 - Open End: After Race Party in the Area
There will be free shuttle buses between Oetz and Area 47, which run in both directions. So you can just leave your car at home 🙂
